Shipping & Exchange Policy

Jivdaya Charitable Trust (JCT) is a registered charitable trust. The payments taken on www.jivdayatrust.org and any associated subdomains are donations towards the treatment and care of animals — they are not the purchase of any product or service.

This policy is published so that donors, and the payment providers who process their gifts, know exactly what is and is not delivered after a payment. In short: nothing is shipped, nothing is charged for delivery, and there is nothing to exchange.

1. No Goods are Sold or Shipped

JCT does not operate a shop. No physical product is sold, dispatched, couriered or posted as a result of a donation made through this website, and no delivery, shipping or handling charge is ever added to a donation. The full amount you give goes to the trust.

2. What You Receive After Donating

Two things follow a completed donation, both of them digital:

An immediate on-screen confirmation of the payment, with a reference you can keep.
An 80G tax-exemption certificate, where you asked for one and gave your PAN.

3. Delivery of the 80G Receipt

The 80G receipt follows the payment. It is issued by the accounts desk to the contact details you gave with your donation, and it is sent electronically — there is no posted copy and no charge for it.

A donation claimed under 80G has to be reported to the Income Tax Department against the donor’s PAN, so a certificate can only be issued where a valid PAN was given at the time of the donation. If you did not ask for a certificate and later need one, write to the accounts desk.

If a receipt has not reached you within 7 working days of your donation, please contact the accounts desk with the payment reference rather than donating again.

4. Where We Work

JCT’s hospital and rehabilitation centre is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and its work is carried out in Gujarat. Donations are accepted from donors anywhere, but nothing is dispatched to a donor's address in any location.

Donations in foreign currency must by law reach the trust's FCRA-designated account rather than this website's payment gateway. The accounts desk will provide those details.

5. Returns and Exchanges

Because no goods or services are supplied in return for a donation, there is nothing that can be returned or exchanged. A donation made in error is handled as a refund instead, under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
